SEEKING: A diverse cast of UNION and NON UNION, Musical Theatre Actor/Singers/Dancers. People of all races, ages, abilities, sexual identities, gender orientations, faiths, and other backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Actors must be local to Orlando, FL and/or Central Florida Area.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
“Sometimes you’re happy and sometimes you’re sad, but the world goes ‘round.”
Life is full of celebrations, love, hopes and dreams. But it can also can be full of loss, loneliness, regret and heartbreak. This Kander and Ebb musical revue follows 5 individuals who are moving throughout the chapters of their life and human experience thru song and dance. The World Goes Round features unforgettable songs such as: Cabaret, New York, New York, Mr. Cellophane, Money, Money, Maybe This Time and Kiss Of The Spiderwoman.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
MAN 1: Male Identifying, 20-50 yrs old (Range: A4 - G5) A real “showman”, but at times he is lonely, dejected, and shy. He comes across as sincere, loving, and charming. MUST BE A STRONG DANCER
MAN 2: Male Identifying, 20-50 yrs old (Range: G3 - A5) Handsome, yet nostalgic. He commands the room, but has a romantic side.
WOMAN 1: Female Identifying, 20-50 yrs old (Range: E3 - A5) A tough and passionate presence. She’s been hurt in the past ,but hasn’t lost her hope for love. She can be a bit quirky at times.
WOMAN 2: Female Identifying, 20-50 yrs old (Range: F3 - G5 ) Independent, but zany. She is always poised and brassy which gives her a seductive flare. MUST BE A STRONG DANCER
WOMAN 3: Female Identifying, 20-50 yrs old (Range: F3 - F5) Her comedic and adventurous personality brings out her confidence. However, she’s hesitant in regards to love.
NOTE: Additionally, we will be casting a FEMALE IDENTIFYING SWING and a MALE IDENTIFYING SWING from this audition.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:
New Generation Theatrical is seeking a company that is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and there will be weekly testing requirements for the cast, crew, and creative team.
TO SUBMIT: Prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre selection in the style of the show. If available, please attach a dance reel with various styles including tap. There will be a dance call at the callbacks.
