Serve for the Gawds is a brand new musical extravaganza that celebrates LGBTQIA+ history and culture, combining ancient Greek mythology with queer nightlife in 1990’s NYC.

GANYMEDE: The youngest prince of Troy, most beautiful of mortals
HERCULES: Zeus’ half-mortal bastard, a masc muscle queen
IOLAUS: A Theban warrior, Hercules’ fighting partner & lover
HEBE: Gawd of youth, Zeus & Hera’s daughter
HERA: Gawd of Women & marriage
ZEUS: Daddy of the Gawds
THE CHILDREN: a chorus of demigods, mortals & creatures including…
DIONYSUS: Demi-Gawd of drinking & parties, a Bear
PAN: A Satyr & Demi-Gawd in Dionysus’ retinue, resident DJ
APOLLO: Gawd of the Sun / ADONIS: a beautiful muscle queen
ORPHEUS: a heartbroken poet / NARCISSUS: a selfie queen
DRYAD: a wood nymph, half tree / LATREUS: a shady centaur - potentially seeking someone who uses mobility aids
MINOTAUR: Bull-headed man / CAENEUS: a Trans-Masculine warrior
NYMPHS: A fierce trio of vogue femme dancers
SIRENS: An entrancing trio of powerful vocalists
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The show is seeking a company that is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
PREPARE
Please prepare to sing a short, up-beat contemporary pop song. HAVE FUN! Be prepared with a digital musical track as an accompaniment - an in-person piano accompanist will not be provided. Some individuals will be asked to stay for a dance callback at 2pm or 5pm.
