"Joe “Deac” Russell seems to have it made. A good business and a great reputation in a Central Florida town struggling to survive in the midst of the social challenges and economic downturn of the late 1970’s. His constant resistance to the community’s call to public service is something he seldom wants to talk about. When a young man stumbles into his shop one afternoon, Joe is forced to confront his biggest fears and hidden secrets. With the young man’s future in his hands, will Deac overcome himself and take the opportunity to reclaim what he feared he had lost forever?"
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
HOBO JOE
A seemingly homeless bum with a tragic past that scares most people. Ridiculed by most of the community, underneath the filth and grime of a street urchin lurks a story waiting to be told.
SAM COPELAND
A mid-sixties retiree with a confrontational spirit and bodacious sense of humor that seems to get him in as much conflict as it does fellowship. In the shop daily.
JUNIOR MITCHELL
A slim, mid thirties street hustler. Charismatic and conniving, his schemes wear thin on Sam daily.

(NOTE: All rehearsals will be held virtually, over zoom. Actors will not be called for all rehearsals/full rehearsal time periods. The director will create a specific rehearsal schedule based around the actors availability.)
