ABOUT THE SHOW
Winnie’s Rock Cauldron Cabaret (WRCC), a theatrical rock concert, created by McCleary, featuring The Sanderson Sisters of Hocus Pocus, which debuted Fall 2018 (Midwest/East Coast, Club Cumming) and was seen at Orlando Fringe 2019 and Winter Mini-Fest 2020. McCleary has worked for Disney (Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular) and Freeform as Winifred Sanderson and has been a Bette Midler Tribute Artist for over 15 years. She is featured in the upcoming book from Disney Publishing; An Oral History of Hocus Pocus. WRCC has amassed such a large following, we now release content and have work outside the Fall and Halloween Season.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS SHOW IS NOT A REPLICA OF THE MOVIES!!! We perform as the characters from the films, but in our own realm. All cover songs and parodies.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
SARAH SANDERSON: The iconic character from Hocus Pocus created by Sarah Jessica Parker. Mezzo soprano/ belt. Strong mover, good with harmonies. She is mistaken as “the sexy one” but uses her allure to draw in her victims. A Siren. A free spirit, always moving. Often seems unfocused but intentional with her actions. At times, she is reactive and impulsive. She is the neurodivergent of the group. Strong comedic timing. Please prepare provided materials
MARY SANDERSON: The iconic character from Hocus Pocus created by Kathy Najimi. Strong Alto with some belt. Strong mover, good with harmonies. The most intuitive of the sisters but repressed by Winifred. Questions herself even when she's right. Likes to make Winnie happy and be a loyal helper but the two have a special connection. Strong comedic timing. Please prepare provided materials
WINIFRED SANDERSON: The iconic character from Hocus Pocus created by Bette Midler. Mezzo-Sop with belt, mostly mixed voice. Strong mover, good with harmonies. Hosting and MC skills are a plus. She is the leader and oldest in the trio. Winnie takes the reins when leading the audience. She is NOT afraid to put the unruly in their place. Of the three sisters, she is the most naturally powerful, but she knows she couldn’t do it without her sisters. Winnie keeps her thumb on them to maintain control. Much of her character is in the physical; facial reactions, slight finger twitches, bombastic arms. Iconic Winifred laugh and speaking voice is a must. (It doesn't have to be perfect to audition!) Please prepare provided materials
YOUNG SARAH SANDERSON: Approximately 9-12 years old. Character played by Juju Journey Brener in Hocus Pocus 2. Fearless with a daring curiosity. A free spirit, always moving. Often seems unfocused but intentional with her actions. At times, she is reactive and impulsive. She is the neurodivergent of the group. Actor should be a good mover or dancer and strong singer.
YOUNG MARY SANDERSON: Approximately 11-14 years old. Character played by Nina Kitchen in Hocus Pocus 2. Observant. Always ready to help. A fixer. She likes to make Winnie happy. The most intuitive of the sisters. You can see she's always thinking by her expressive face. Actor should be a good mover or dancer and strong singer.
YOUNG WINIFRED SANDERSON: Approximately 15-18 years old. Character played by Taylor Henderson in Hocus Pocus 2. A feisty and non conforming adolescent. She is the oldest sister and head of household. Just beginning to discover her magic and powers. Unapologetically rebellious. Happy to be the problem. Actor should be a good mover or dancer and strong singer.
WITCH MOTHER: The iconic character played by Hannah Waddingham in Hocus Pocus 2. Very intelligent and much older than she appears. Her gifts and powers are strong. She has found a soft spot in her heart for The Sanderson Sisters. Once had her own Coven, and has seen how cruel people are to those who are different. Ethereal presence. Effortless confidence. Strong commanding presence. She is our Narrator for Act One. Looking for strong Singer/Actors who move well.
